Anamorphic Installations

Art Installation

Aneleise Ruggles and I created a series of site-specific anamorphic installations at the Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown, MA from 2015-2017. We used colored gaffer's tape on the main stairs entrance of the building. Each is designed for the viewer to stand in one spot to get "the full picture" then as you move around the space and shift perspective, the illustration morphs into a more abstract image. We began with the one-color drawing Anamorphic Lightbulb then moved on to the multicolor Anamorphic Ice Cream and Anamorphic M, the latter of which features the Mosesian Center's logo created by Stoltze Design.
