Serve Kindness

Logo, Identity, Design

I worked with Serve Kindness on their logo & identity. They are a new company, which sells handmade glass bowls and donates a portion of all the sales to support artists and charities.

Their bowls are beautiful, clean, and uncomplicated. They wanted something to represent that in their logo. In one of our first meetings they told me they wanted something simple and modern that made you smile immediately. Once I started playing with ideas, I realized the shape of a bowl and the shape of a smile are not really that far apart… the rest fell into place after that. I had fun creating this logo and I hope that translates.

Color is very important to them (as you can see from their bowls) and we couldn’t decide on just one, so part of their identity embraces that and uses a group of four variant colors to mix-and-match as they roll out their brand. Beyond their logo and identity, I’ve been working with them on business cards, promotional postcards, trade show banners, and web graphics.
